Chris Thiele – President
Chris serves as President of Collateral Services Inc. (CSI), bringing nearly two decades of experience in asset-based lending support. He began his career with CSI in 2005, applying his education in business and information systems to help streamline and strengthen the firm’s analysis and reporting processes. In 2015, he was named President and has since led the company with a focus on integrity, responsiveness, and practical insight.
A graduate of Emporia State University with a B.S. in Business and a concentration in Computer Information Systems, Chris combines technical acumen with a deep understanding of lender needs. Under his leadership, CSI continues to grow as a trusted partner for banks, finance companies, and private lenders across the country.
A near lifelong resident of Leavenworth, Kansas, where CSI is proudly headquartered, Chris values strong community ties and lasting relationships. On weekends, you’ll likely find him with his family enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s swimming, fishing, or cheering on their favorite team at the ballpark.
Angela Chmidling – Vice President
Angela Chmidling has been a valued employee of Collateral Services Inc. since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Western University and brings a wealth of expertise in office management, organizational efficiency, and team collaboration. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication abilities, Angela plays a vital role in driving smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment, inspiring those around her to grow and thrive. Angela believes in the power of collaboration to achieve shared goals, while making data-driven decisions. She has successfully spearheaded office-wide initiatives aimed at improving workflow, enhancing productivity, and promoting a culture of mutual support and excellence.
Outside of the office, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, is an avid concertgoer, loves listening to live music, and watching Kansas City’s beloved Chiefs!
Sarah Regan – Senior Analyst
Sarah Regan has dedicated more than 23 years to Collateral Services Inc., where she has built a reputation as a trusted and reliable professional. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Baker University, she combines financial expertise with a client-focused approach. Sarah is known for her attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and the long-term relationships she fosters with colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and family time watching the football games of her beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas State Wildcats – always finding balance between work and play!
Joe Murray – Senior Programmer
With over 20 years of experience in the programming field, Joe Murray has built a strong reputation as a Senior Programmer at Collateral Services Inc. Holding a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Communications, Joe blends technical expertise with a deep understanding of how to effectively communicate complex solutions.
Known for his professionalism and dedication, Joe takes pride in delivering top-tier results while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. Outside of his work, he values his family-oriented lifestyle—he’s happily married with two kids, a dog, and a cat. On weekends, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, cheering on his favorite MLS team (Sporting Kansas City) games, or enjoying quality time with his loved ones.
Joe’s commitment to both his career and his family is what drives him to excel in everything he does.
Gabby Mingus – Communications Manager
Gabby Mingus joined the Collateral Services Inc. team in 2019. Before taking on her current communications role, Gabby was initially trained as an analyst where she cultivated her extensive knowledge in loan analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Saint Mary. As a former collegiate athlete, she gained a strong sense of teamwork, commitment, and adaptability – all qualities that have been essential in her role at Collateral Services.
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three dogs—Evelyn, Walter, and Rue. She also loves hanging out with friends and cheering on her favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks.
